On Monday, February 22nd, most likely, not forgetting that tomorrow is a holiday, the Russian indices on the Moscow Exchange “depicted” a very strange loop. At first, after just 1 minute of trading, they actively grew: the Moscow Exchange index rose by 0.14% to 3451.09 points, and the RTS index – by 0.11% to 1467.43. And then under the threat of new sanctions for Russia from the EU side also actively went down, completing trading in the “red zone”. The previous trading session on February 20, on Saturday, ended with the following indicators: Moscow Exchange – 3446.32 (-11.36 / -0.33%); RTS – 1465.82 (-6.51 / -0.44%). On February 22, stock exchange indices were as follows: • Moscow Exchange – 3433.93 (-11.36 / -0.36%); • RTS – 1455.33 (-10.49 / -0.72%). The position among blue chips (we cite changes of at least 0.500% – an exception for the Moscow Exchange itself, we also start from this indicator when tracking situations day by day) – 7 (out of 13) companies that crossed the threshold of +/- 0.500% (in Saturday – 4): • Mosenergo – a drop of 1.035%, for 2 sessions in a row – by 1.199%; • Gazprom – down 0.755%; • Norilsk Nickel – a decline of 4.145%, for 2 sessions – by 7.927%; • Lukoil – growth by 2.422%; • RBC-TV – a fall of 1.890%, yesterday there was an increase of 4.290%; • Rostelecom – down 1.274%; • Sberbank – growth by 0.920%. Among other companies – 20 out of 22 in control (on Saturday – 12): • Rusal – growth by 2,879%; • Yandex – a drop of 1.926%, for 2 consecutive sessions – by 2.258%; • Abrau-Dyurso – a drop of 5.936%, for 2 sessions – by 11.131%; • Bashneft – a drop of 1.185%, yesterday there was an increase of 1.499%; • GAZ – drop by 1.961%; • “Detsky Mir” – a drop by 1.037%, for 2 sessions – by 1.244%; • ZIL – growth by 1.106%; • InterRAO – a drop of 1.293%; • KAMAZ – a fall by 1.258%; • “Red October” – a fall of 4.583%, on Saturday there was a fall of 37.743%, a fall for 2 consecutive sessions by 42.326%; • M.Video – a drop of 0.835%; • “Magnet” – a fall by 1.292%; • MMK – growth by 1.188%, for 3 sessions – by 3.852%; • MTS – a drop of 0.928%; • Novatek – a drop of 1.367%, over 2 sessions – 1.719%; • OrgSintez – a fall of 0.601%, yesterday there was an increase of 1.463%; • Raspadskaya – an increase of 2.081%; • Rosseti – a drop of 2.371%, on Saturday there was an increase of 2.615%; • RusHydro – a drop of 1.326%; • “Sistema” – a drop of 1.368%, over 2 sessions – 1.496%. On Monday, February 22, the shares of the Moscow Exchange rose by 2.354%. Over the last 375 sessions, since August 26, 2019, the stock exchange’s shares reached a maximum growth of 67.870%. In total, 27 companies out of 35 in consideration passed the threshold of “+/- 0.500%” (on Saturday – 16). The sum of changes in the percentage of shares of all 35 companies: a drop of 28.438%, for 2 consecutive sessions a drop of 63.180%. The blue chips have the sum of their changes today: a 6.530% drop, a 6.865% drop in the group for 2 consecutive sessions.
